Speaker readiness guide

Share this with faculty and presenters before the event. Good preparation reduces rework and improves replay quality.

Before the session

  • •Confirm session title, speaker name, and credentials for replay metadata
  • •Send slides in advance when possible (PowerPoint or PDF)
  • •Use the provided microphone; repeat audience questions when applicable
  • •Avoid copyrighted music or unlicensed media in slides when recordings will be distributed

During the session

  • •Stay on the marked speaking area for camera and audio consistency
  • •Advance slides at a steady pace; pause briefly on complex diagrams
  • •Announce spellings of drug names, acronyms, or specialty terms when helpful

Recording release

  • •Follow your organization’s speaker release and consent process
  • •Flag privacy-sensitive cases or patient identifiers before recording begins
  • •Contact the event team with last-minute agenda or room changes
